Ongoing project about the unexpected architecture of Barcelona.

I recently photographed for 5 Media the Barcelona based NGO Espigoladors who pick up imperfect vegetables and fruits that don’t fit food cosmetic standard and are considered ¨to be too ugly¨ or are not worth the expense of harvesting.
The initiative of Espigoladors helps to reduce food waste and provides people in need with healthy food. Link to the article published in 5 Media.

…It takes time and patience to adapt to their incredible speed but with these photographs, I hope I can share some of my amazement and awe of our often ignored feathered friends!.
